What we collect

You can use every calculator and planning tool on this site, including dragging items around the Roof Layout Planner, without creating an account or giving us any information. An account is only needed the moment you choose to save, print, or export your work, because from that point your plan is stored on our server so you can come back to it later.

• Creating an account collects an email address and a password (stored as a one-way hash we cannot reverse, never in plain text).
• We send a one-time confirmation link to that email address to verify it belongs to you before the account can save anything, which also helps keep the saved-plan system free of throwaway or fake addresses.
• Anything you explicitly save with a tool (for example, a roof layout) is stored in our database, tied to your account, so you can reload it later.
• We do not ask for your name, mailing address, or payment information for any tool on this site.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user information with anyone, ever. Your email address is used only to verify your account and, if you opt in separately to the mailing list, to send occasional build-notes emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Cookies

Creating an account sets one first-party session cookie so the site can recognize you're logged in from page to page. It contains no tracking information and is not shared with any third party. If you never create an account, this cookie is never set, and every tool still works fully.

One honest caveat: third parties we don't control may set their own cookies when their content loads on our pages. Specifically, advertising networks and affiliate partners (described below) may use cookies to serve ads and to credit purchases. If you prefer to avoid these, browser settings and extensions that block third-party cookies work fine here — every tool on this site keeps working fully regardless.

Advertising and affiliate links

The tools on this site are free to use, with no subscription and no paywall on the tools themselves. The site may participate in affiliate programs to help support that.

• We only link products relevant to bus conversion and mobile living.
• Affiliate relationships never change the dimensions, presets, or advice in the design tool.
• Ad placements are visually separated from the tool and labeled.
• Third-party ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads; their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies, and most offer opt-outs (for example, Google ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com).

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, page requested, time, browser type) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify or profile you, are not combined with any other data, and are routinely deleted.

Children

This site is a general-audience design tool and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change, this page will be updated first and the "last updated" date revised. The commitment above — we do not sell your information — is the foundation of the site and will not change.
